Keep the whole fleet scanning. Enterprise mobility depot services in Canada.

Warehouses, stores, and delivery routes run on handhelds and scanners, and every device in a picker’s hand is a single point of failure. We run the Canadian depot layer for mobility OEMs and the enterprises and channels that operate their fleets: repair, advance exchange, staging, and returns.

Rugged devices earn their failures honestly: screens and digitizers crack against racking, scan engines drift out of spec or die from drop shock, battery bays and charging contacts corrode from thousands of dock cycles, keypads and triggers wear through. None of it is exotic, but it arrives in volume, and a warehouse doesn’t slow down while a device sits in a queue. What a fleet operator actually buys from a depot is uptime: a working, configured unit in the worker’s hand while the failed one cycles through repair.

That’s the program we run from Markham, Ontario, for all of Canada: intake by unit or by batch, board-level repair of the failures that part-swap depots write off, advance-exchange pools that ship a replacement before the broken unit comes back, and per-site staging (OS builds, applications, network profiles, asset tags) so every device arrives ready to scan on day one. For OEMs, the same depot runs as your in-country warranty arm, keeping Canadian RMAs out of the cross-border loop entirely.

When mobility fleets outgrow their repair loop

  • Devices are crossing the border for repair, and every RMA is picking up shipping days, brokerage, and duty on the way.
  • Cracked screens, dead scan engines, and worn battery bays are arriving faster than anyone can turn them, and the spares pool is shrinking.
  • A new site or refresh needs hundreds of devices staged with the right OS build, apps, and network profiles, per site, not one image for everyone.
  • An OEM warranty program needs a Canadian depot partner, and the current arrangement can’t hold turnaround commitments.
  • Retired handhelds and printers are stacking up in a cage with no disposition path that recovers value or closes out the assets cleanly.

Enterprise mobility repair questions fleet operators ask

What are the most common enterprise mobility device failures you repair?

The same few, at scale: cracked displays and digitizers from drops, scan engines that fail or drift out of spec, battery-bay and charging-contact damage from dock wear, worn keypads and triggers, and board-level faults from impact or liquid ingress. We repair down to the board and component level, so failures that a part-swap depot would scrap, like a damaged connector or a failed charging circuit, come back as working units instead of write-offs.

How does advance exchange work for a device fleet?

We hold a buffer pool of your units at the depot, configured to your build. When a site reports a failure, a replacement ships immediately and the failed device comes back for repair into the pool. Workers stay productive on a working device while the repair loop runs behind the scenes. The fleet never drops below strength waiting on a turnaround.

Can you stage devices with different configurations per site?

Yes. Per-site staging is a core service. We load the OS version, applications, wireless and network profiles, and settings each location needs, apply asset tags, and kit devices with the right accessories per your runbook, so a distribution centre and a retail store each receive devices configured for their environment, ready to work out of the box.

Do you run warranty depot programs for mobility OEMs in Canada?

Yes. We act as the in-country depot arm for OEM warranty and extended-warranty programs: receiving Canadian RMAs, repairing to your standards, and reporting per unit through our customer portal and API. Keeping the loop inside Canada removes cross-border shipping, brokerage, and duty from every claim, which matters when the program runs on volume.

Which enterprise mobility brands and device types do you service?

The depot services rugged handhelds from Zebra, Honeywell, and similar platforms, along with barcode scanners and imagers, mobile and wearable printers, vehicle-mount computers, and wearable scanners deployed in Canada. Bring us your fleet list and we’ll confirm coverage per model as part of scoping.
