There are two ways to run an RMA program. The whole-unit model ships the entire device back and forth. The board-level model pulls the failed board or module and sends only that: cheaper to ship, faster to turn, and it keeps your field units in service. The second model only works if your repair partner can actually fix boards.

What kinds of boards do you repair?

Motherboards, GPUs, power supplies, controller and interface boards, industrial control boards, POS terminal boards, and display/logic boards from A/V equipment, across the hardware families we service. If it’s a populated PCB with economic value, it’s probably a fit.

Is component-level repair actually cheaper than replacing boards?

For boards with meaningful unit value, usually yes: a reballed BGA or replaced power stage costs a fraction of a new board, and recovering a board you already own beats buying and freighting a replacement. We help you set the repair-vs-scrap threshold so only economic repairs happen.

Can we send boards instead of whole units for our RMA program?

Yes, that’s exactly the model this service enables. Your field teams or customers pull the failed board, ship it to the depot, and receive a repaired or exchanged board back. Lower freight, faster turnaround, and your enclosures never leave the field.

How do you protect against ESD and handling damage?

Boards are handled under standard ESD controls end to end: grounded workstations, wrist straps, shielded packaging for return shipping. Handling steps are built into the documented process for your program.

Do you support this in Canada specifically?

Yes. The depot is in Markham, Ontario, serving all of Canada. Boards stay in-country: no cross-border shipping, brokerage, or duty complications on the repair loop.
